We recently attended HumanRights360’s and Sol Crowe’s presentation in Thessaloniki on the Asylum and Migration & Local Development and Poverty Reduction Grants as part of the EEA Grants Programme in Greece. We were under the assumption that we could apply for the Local Development & Poverty Reduction Grant but on the relevant website we found only three existing projects for that grant all of which were pre-determined to take place in Athens.

We were under the assumption that we could apply for the Local Development & Poverty Reduction Grant but on the relevant website we found only three existing projects for that grant all of which were pre-determined to take place in Athens.

Indeed, the Programme Local Development and Poverty Reduction includes only pre-defined projects as presented in the programme’s website. However, under the same programme, an open call under “bilateral cooperation” is going to be published in early 2020. In case your organisation meets the eligibility criteria specified in the call, you are welcome to apply.
