🏠 Last Saturday, we had the honour to welcome in HOUSE2 Najat Maalla, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General on Violence against Children. Najat Maalla was shown around the Centre and was able to see how the children currently living there are doing first-hand. She had the chance to meet and communicate with the minors, and discuss the challenges with the staff. At the end of her visit, Najat Maalla asked the children one question. 💭“If you had only one wish to make to achieve your biggest dream, what would be that?” ✈️ “A ticket to Germany, I want to go to my mother…” said R. aged 10 yrs old and R. 17teen.✨“Never give up on your dreams,” said Majat Maalla. The Deputy Minister of Migration and Asylum in charge of Integration, Sofia Voultepsi and the Special Secretary of Protection of Unaccompanied Minors, Heracles Moskoff – sspuam joined also the visit.
