The project will promote the employment of vulnerable unemployed residents of the City of Athens through awareness raising, training and certification, individualized psychosocial and employability support and job placement. The main objective of the project is increased employment among recently unemployed people. The implementation of the project will begin in 2021.
The project is conducted by EWC under the auspices of the Hellenic Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs. By the end of the school year 2021-2022, school leaders, teachers, pupils and parents from 150 Greek secondary schools will take part in the project.
With the support of the EEA Grants, SolidarityNow has continued and strengthened the provision of all the pro bono services at the Athens Solidarity Center. The general objective of the project is to provide for two years (2019-2021), holistic support to 10,000 people individuals at risk of social marginalization and exclusion and pave the way towards their empowerment and self-reliance.
